I started Latshaw Marketing in 2016 because I knew that incredible things happen when teams make a true effort to understand the people they serve. Having worked for over 20 years in corporate and startup marketing roles, I saw the power of connecting in true, meaningful ways with customers, but I also saw that it’s not easy to do systematically and sustainably. So, I created the Empathetic Positioning Process to help organizations — both for-profits and nonprofits of all sizes and stages — get systematic about activating empathy for the people they serve so that they can inspire the actions needed to get the results they wanted. This empathy-driven, inclusive approach to qualitative audience research and strategic positioning has created lasting results for organizations large and small, across industries including technology, financial services, manufacturing, nonprofit, and creative.

Based on 20+ years as a marketing leader, she developed the Empathetic Positioning Process which has created lasting results for a wide range of organizations including mission-driven nonprofits, technology startups, global manufacturers, creative agencies, and financial firms.
